Arthur Erdem
Arthur Erdem is the strategic head of IPEF and comes from the interdisciplinary discipline of social anthropology and economic cybernetics. His main focus is on describing causal relationships, analyzing and interpreting complex processes and structures, and then drawing up pragmatic solutions. His focal point is always the economy of ecology. During his professional career, he has been nearly 25 years in management positions at all stages along the supply chain of the FMCG industry.
IPEF’s sustainability strategies are developed from two perspectives. Holistic: As far as possible, all relevant aspects are covered in the sustainability assessment. Integrative: The dimensions of sustainability are assessed in an integrative way to show intersections between the dimensions and interrelations between the aspects.
